Drums bang loud,
As my tear hits the dance floor,
No one notices, no one understands,
The crowd goes on and on.
Overwhelmed by the beat,
The flow of music,
As my sobs become uncontrollably,
Like the rhythm of the dance.
Faces come out of the song,
And lead me away from here,
A waltz into the darkness,
Back to where I belong.
