.:: In Eternum ::.

A smouldering wonder crashes above me,
Light shining black through a web of my cries,
Under my imperfect tree I lie, hopeless,
As I give myself in to a frozen night's sky.

Fiery leaves whirlpool around me,
Engulfing me in their autumn spark,
A vision on life appears before me,
A teasing comfort in the oppressing dark.

It vanishes quickly, the leaves whirling faster,
Filling my head with indefinite sight,
Crying, I crumble to the earth beneath me,
And let it consume the last of my fight.

Forever I'll lie here, woven in pain,
Always alone in my secret demise,
Immortally living through infinite death,
Eternally knowing I caved under my lies.
